Welcome to GoatDraft ("Company," "we," "our," "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GoatDraft website, mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
The Service is available only to residents of the following U.S. states where skill-based fantasy sports contests are legally permitted: Alaska, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, and Wisconsin, plus additional states as licenses are obtained.
You must physically be located in an eligible jurisdiction to enter paid contests. We use geolocation technology to verify your location.
To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
GoatDraft is a skill-based fantasy sports platform, not a gambling service. Success in our contests depends primarily on participants' knowledge of professional and college sports, statistical analysis, and strategic decision-making rather than chance.
The Service offers multiple game modes, including but not limited to:
Scoring is transparent and based solely on verified statistical data from official league sources.
Contests may be public (open to all eligible users) or private (limited to invited participants). Entry fees and prize structures are clearly disclosed before entry. We retain a platform fee (typically 10-15%) from each contest's total entry fees.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
Each user may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent our policies or gain unfair advantages is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent suspension.

You may add funds to your account using approved payment methods. All deposits are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to set minimum and maximum deposit limits.
You may withdraw funds from your account balance at any time, subject to identity verification requirements. Withdrawals are processed within 3-5 business days. We reserve the right to request additional documentation to verify your identity before processing withdrawals.
Entry fees are charged when you join a contest. Prize distributions are determined by the contest rules and are paid to winning participants' account balances within 24 hours of contest completion.
You are solely responsible for all taxes and reporting requirements related to your winnings. We will provide tax documentation (Form 1099-MISC or similar) for winnings exceeding $600 in a calendar year, as required by U.S. tax law.
We may offer promotional credits, bonuses, or free entries. These are subject to specific terms and conditions, including wagering requirements, expiration dates, and withdrawal restrictions.
The Service, including all content, features, functionality, software, text, graphics, logos, and design, is owned by GoatDraft or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (comments, profile information, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content in connection with operating the Service.
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, but we cannot guarantee absolute security. You acknowledge that you provide information at your own risk.
Each contest is governed by official rules specifying scoring systems, prize structures, and tie breaking procedures. You are responsible for reviewing and understanding these rules before entering.
We use official statistics from recognized sports leagues. If official statistics are corrected after a contest concludes, we reserve the right to adjust contest results and redistribute prizes accordingly.
If a game is canceled or postponed, players from that game typically receive zero points. If an entire contest is affected, we may cancel the contest and refund all entry fees.
In the event of a tie, prizes for tied positions are typically combined and split equally among tied participants, unless otherwise specified in the contest rules.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites.
Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, investment, or professional advice. You should not rely on any information on the Service as a substitute for professional advice.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL GOATDRAFT, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GoatDraft and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
If you have any dispute with us, you agree to first contact us at legal@goatdraft.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days before initiating formal proceedings.
Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, or another mutually agreed location.
YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting customer support. Upon termination, you may withdraw any remaining balance in your account, subject to verification requirements.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity. In such cases, we may withhold any remaining balance pending investigation.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including indemnification, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution provisions.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and GoatDraft regarding the Service.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, government restrictions, or failures of internet service providers.
